MyHelp - FrameMaker Plugin

MyHelp is a FrameMaker plugin developed for FrameMaker 5.5 and above. MyHelp lets you add your own items to the FrameMaker Help menu. You can link to Help files (CHM and HLP), PDF files, and HTML files (both local and on the web). You can also link to other documents or files that run the proper application when launched. MyHelp also gives you the ability to have context sensitive help associated with the current element (in structured files), the current paragraph or character style, or the selected text.

This context sensitivity can link to your in-house style or structure documentation to give writers quick access to the appropriate topics. For example, if you use DITA as your data model, you can view the help topic on the selected element by pressing Alt+F1. (Included with this plugin is the DITA Reference CHM file.)

Note that the FM8 version of MyHelp is still under development. If you need to install MyHelp on FM8, please contact us for a manual installer package.
